Great Pumpkin Carving Contest

Get your carving tools ready, and enter your pumpkin in this virtual carving contest.
Categories include Most Creative, Spookiest, Most Artistic, and Traditional Jack O’ Lantern.

Drive-By Pumpkin Patch
Check out a spooky and fun carved pumpkins on Lion Run from 6-9 p.m. October 30. One-way traffic will enter from Old Lee Highway, and donations will be accepted for non-perishable/dry goods for A Place to Stand program.

Trick or Treat Trail
Join the P.O.L.I.C.E. and the Parks and Recreation Department for drive-thru "trick-or-treating" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 31.
Police and Parks department folks will be handing out candy and giveaways, while supplies last. Costumes encouraged!
SPOOKtacular Science Show
Little boos and ghouls can learn about the magic behind Halloween with experiments performed by Mad Science of DC.
Bubbling potions, color-changing fire and more experiments will be showcased in the spirit of Halloween at 1:30 p.m. October 31 in the Veterans Amphitherater (adjacent to City Hall).
