Local Veteran Re-Opens Window Genie Franchise in Fairfax

Window Genie announces the re-grand opening of its location in Fairfax, VA on March 28th. Local Air force veteran Jon Bradley is the new owner. Window Genie specializes in residential and light commercial window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and more. Window Genie of Fairfax will service the surrounding communities including Fairfax Station, Oakton, Centreville and Vienna.

Before purchasing a Window Genie franchise, Bradley served in the Air Force for 24 years. In the six years leading up to his retirement, he did extensive research on business ownership as he’d decided that was his goal upon retirement from the military. He said, “I’d looked at many different employment options over the last few years in anticipation of my retirement from the military. I always wanted to be my own boss, and in the end I chose franchise ownership over any option because it was the best fit for me and my family.”

Bradley considered everything from fast food franchises, to laundromats to car care businesses, but changed his focus when introduced to Window Genie. Under unfortunate personal circumstances, the current owner of the Window Genie nearby was forced to sell his business. “I wasn’t interested initially since the service area was over 30 minutes from my home,” Bradley shared. “However, after talking to several franchise industry experts and a business coach, I found Window Genie was highly regarded in the franchise community so my attitude shifted. I was convinced to give it a try, and found that the opportunity for real growth through Window Genie’s multiple revenue streams matched my abilities and goals. I spoke to current Window Genie franchise partners who furthered my ability to see myself successfully running this local franchise.”

Bradley will officially re-open the Fairfax location on March 28th, just in time for spring cleaning. “My goal for year one is to build a solid team of technicians and client base. It’s important to me that my team and I are able to build solid relationships in the community because our business will grow and thrive off a loyal customer base that refers us to friends and family but also has us back year-round to perform multiple services. It’s up to us to meet expectations and deliver on quality. We’re excited to get going.”
