Man Assaulted with Pepper Spray at Fair Lakes Shopping Center

A man was assaulted by another man using pepper spray in the parking lot of the Walmart at Fair Lakes Shopping Center last Friday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 p.m. The victim told police he was driving behind a green Volkswagen sedan in the parking lot and eventually attempted to drive around the Volkswagen.

At that time, the driver of the Volkswagen discharged pepper spray at the victim and his vehicle, hitting the victim through a rolled-down window. The suspect then drove away. The victim’s injuries were determined non-life threatening.

The suspect was described to police as a white male in his 30s wearing a red-and-green striped collared shirt. The case is still being investigated.
