Man Charged With Assault And Battery At The Lamb Center: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police charged a man with assault and battery in connection with a fight that occurred Friday at a local homeless day shelter, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 1:05 p.m. to The Lamb Center, which is located at 3160 Campbell Drive, for the report of an assault. The person who reported the assault told the officers they were trying to separate to people who were arguing when one began punching the other in the stomach.

Police arrested Abram Alphonso Goodwin, 37, no fixed address and took him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Once there, they charged Goodwin with with assault and battery.
