McDonald's Drive-Thru Rage: Customer Explodes In Fairfax: ICYMI

A man going through a McDonald's drive-thru window Wednesday in Fairfax didn't like his order, say Fairfax Police, so he exploded.

FAIRFAX, VA — So you're in a lone line at the McDonald's drive-thru. You finally get to the pickup window and get your order. Alas, it's the wrong one. It happens. But what can you do other than hand the bag back and wait for the right order, no matter how annoying that is? Well, here's what one guy did, according to Fairfax Police:

Around 7 p.m. Wednesday, a customer went through a McDonald's drive-thru at 3951 Pickett Road. Suffice to say, he was not happy about his order. He got out of his vehicle, approached the window and punched a 22-year-old male employee in the head. The case is under investigation. Also in Friday's Fairfax crime report:

3700 Block of Jermantown Road – On August17 at 1:15 PM the resident reported that when she returned home she found that entry had been forced through the front door. It could not be immediately determined if anything was taken. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

Credit Card Theft

10300 Main Street / TJMaxx – On August 17 at 6:23 PM the victim reported that while she was shopping in the store unknown person(s) had stolen her purse. The purse contained cash, identification, checks and debit and credit cards, one of which subsequently had been used to make an unauthorized purchase. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
