Missing Senior: Details Released as Search Continues

Sung Kwon Lee, 75, was last seen Tuesday morning at a local assisted living center.

The search is widening for an elderly man who disappeared Tuesday morning from an assisted living center in Fairfax City.

The Virginia State Police have issued a Silver Alert for Sung Kwon Lee, 75, according to the Fairfax City Police Department. He was last seen at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Commonwealth Health and Rehab Center, 4315 Chain Bridge Road.

"It is unknown ... whether or not Mr. Lee left the facility on foot or on a powered wheelchair," the Fairfax City police said.

Lee is described as an Asian male with black eyes and gray hair, weighing 151 pounds and 5 feet 2 inches in height.

He suffers from respiratory problems, as well as cognitive impairments caused by an accident, the police said. He is originally from Richmond and does not have family in Northern Virginia.
