More Unlocked Cars Hit By Unknown Thief
Owners of five vehicles discover break-ins, according to Fairfax City police

A wave of thefts from unlocked cars in Fairfax City has continued unabated, according to local police.
Between 6 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, the owners of five vehicles reported that their unlocked vehicles had been entered overnight by an unknown person or persons. Cash was stolen from several of the vehicles, according to a report from the City of Fairfax Police Department.
The vehicles were parked in the 9800 block of Sharon Court, the 9800 block of Kirktree Court, the 9500 block of Stoughton Road and the 4200 block of Berritt Street.

The latest reported thefts come in the wake of thefts reported over the weekend from 13 unlocked vehicles parked on Fairfax City streets, plus another five also reported Tuesday.
