N. Virginia Program, In Partnership, Assists With Solar Power Systems

The City of Fairfax is making it easier and more affordable for residents and businesses to go solar by partnering with the non-profit Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) and the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) on the 2020 Solarize NOVA program which runs through August 31.

During the 2020 Solarize NOVA program, individuals that sign up can receive:
- A free, virtual site assessment to determine if your home or business is well-suited for a solar power system.
- Bulk discounts on solar energy systems for home or business (typically between 10 and 15% off of current consumer prices).
- Access to a pre-qualified solar installer, Solar Energy World.
- A free home energy assessment for Solarize participants to identify energy-saving opportunities within your home.
- The opportunity to bundle the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with your solar purchase, reducing the overall cost of installing EV technology at your home or business.
