Pipe Rehabilitation Project In Ranger Road Park

A project to re-line a sanitary sewer main located within Ranger Road Park, work expected to take a month, starts today, weather permitting.

A project to reline a sanitary sewer main located within Ranger Road Park will start on July 28, weather permitting. A contractor working for the City of Fairfax Public Works Department will complete the work, which is expected to take about a month. Access to the trails within the park will not be affected, and sanitary sewer service will not be interrupted. This project is necessary to protect the environment and public health from potential sanitary sewer overflows. Ranger Road Park is located in the northeast quadrant of the city.
