Playground Arson Investigated at 2nd Fairfax School
Fire was reported at Greenbriar West Elementary School, and damage was approximately $35,000, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

FAIRFAX, VA — A second elementary school playground set in Farifax County has been set on fire and all but destroyed, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
The latest was at Greenbriar West Elementary School in the 13300 block of Poplar Tree Road.
Fire and Rescue officials say it happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and damage was estimated at $35,000.

Officials also are looking for the public's help in finding whoever had a hand in setting a playground set on fire Oct. 2 at Lees Corner Elementary School in the 13500 block of Hollinger Avenue.
The fire was considered arson, and caused approximately $16,500 in damage to the play set and surrounding area.
