Stabbing Victim In Fairfax City Hospitalized; No Threat To Community

City of Fairfax Police responded late Thursday afternoon for a 911 report of a stabbing near Fairfax Boulevard and Fair Woods Parkway.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police responded around 4 p.m. on Thursday to a 911 report of a stabbing in the area of Fairfax Boulevard and Fair Woods Parkway, according to a city spokesman.

"A victim was located, transported to the hospital, and is currently in stable condition," said Matt Kaiser, a public information officer with the City of Fairfax. He added that there was no threat to the community.

"More information will follow if arrest warrants are obtained or an arrest is made," Kaiser told Patch. "At this time, the incident appears to be isolated between two individuals."

The case is being investigated as a malicious wounding, according to police.
