Police: Sexual Assault Suspect Apprehended in Fairfax (ICYMI)

Fairfax County police and U.S. marshals arrested a rape suspect Wednesday who is suspected of soliciting victims online.

Police detectives, along with a U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Taskforce, arrested Drew Wendell Easter, 31, of no fixed address, on Wednesday evening in the Fairfax area, according to the Fairfax County police.

Easter was charged with rape, sodomy, abduction with intent to defile, grand larceny and strangulation in connection with two incidents in Fairfax County.

Detectives have reason to believe that Easter may have committed other similar offenses, according to police, who said he would solicit the victims online, meet them in local hotels and sexually assault them.
