The Purple Can Club has resumed, and city residents are invited to once again begin using purple, glass-only containers in Fairfax.

Containers are being reset at locations throughout Fairfax County — including the city's container at 10700 Page Avenue (across from the U.S. Postal Service office). Click here to review the Northern Virginia Glass Recover Map.

- I-66 Transfer Station , 4618 West Ox Road, Fairfax
- I-95 Landfill Complex, 9850 Furnace Road, Lorton
Glass jars and bottles must be clean, and labels and lids are accepted.
Fairfax City recycling crews continue to collect glass curbside, until further notice. However, residents are encouraged to recycle via Purple Cans when possible.
