Rita's Italian Ice Debuts New Flavor With Free Cups Of Italian Ice

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is celebrating spring's arrival on Tuesday by giving customers a free 6-ounce cup of Italian ice at all of it's locations in the U.S.

Guests can choose any of Rita's Italian Ice's classics or take advantage of the promotion to try the latest flavor, Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Ice, inspired by the sour-then-sweet candy.

"Our first day of spring giveaway has become a cherished tradition with our guests, and this year, we're elevating the celebration with the exclusive launch of Sour Patch Watermelon Ice,” said Linda Chadwick, Rita's president and CEO. “At Rita's, our guests inspire us to push our flavor innovation further each year and we are thrilled to partner with the Sour Patch Kids brand to deliver this unique take on a sour-then-sweet favorite in only a way Rita’s can. Customers can stop by one of Rita's more than 550 locations all-day Tuesday to redeem a free 6-ounce Italian Ice in all available flavors. Rita's has 11 locations in Virginia, including the three locations in the Fairfax area:
