Fairfax City police had to divert traffic and bus routes temporarily Wednesday as they worked to resolve a dispute between roommates.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police had to divert traffic and bus routes temporarily Wednesday afternoon around a neighborhood in the vicinity of Fair City Mall as officers worked to resolve a dispute, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of Wilcoxin Drive for the report of a roommate dispute involving a weapon. Police say the incident was resolved peacefully and no injuries were reported.
