School Supply Drive In Progress At Fairfax City Fire Department

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — The City of Fairfax Fire Department, in partnership with IAFF Local 2702, is collecting school supplies through the fall semester to benefit city students. Community members are encouraged to drop off supplies in the marked bin located in the lobby of Fire Station 3, 4081 University Dr.

The bin will remain in the station lobby through December 2019, and donations are accepted at any time, according to the city. Organizers said they are hoping to see the school supply donation program become a year-round effort since the need continues all year.
