Sexual Battery Charge Filed In Assault On Child At Fairfax City Park
A 72-year-old man was arrested in connection with a sexual assault involving a child that occurred Sept. 12 at Stafford Drive Park.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 72-year-old man was arrested in connection with a sexual assault involving a child that occurred Sept. 12 at a Fairfax City park.
On Sept. 13, the juvenile victim told City of Fairfax Police that an unknown man approached the victim, who was sitting on a bench at Stafford Drive Park, 3300 Stafford Drive.
The man started talking to the victim and touched them inappropriately, according to police. The victim was able to run away and told their parents about the incident.

Investigators identified Timoteo Trejo Aleman of no fixed address as the suspect in the case. Trejo Aleman was arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with aggravated sexual battery. Trejo Aleman remains in custody without bond, according to police.
Between 2013 and 2016, Trejo Aleman was charged five times for being drunk in public by the Town of Herndon Police, according to Fairfax County General District Court records.

In each case, Trejo Aleman was released on his own recognizance but failed to show up for any of his court hearings. Five times he was tried and found guilty in absentia. His fines for the misdemeanor charges totaled $275, all of which were still marked past due as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to court records.
