Fair Lakes Stabbing And Attempted Robbery Under Investigation By Fairfax Police

FAIR LAKES, VA — Fairfax County Police Department are investigating an attempted robbery and stabbing incident that occurred late Thursday night at the Camden Fair Lakes Apartments, according to the weekly crime report.

Police say that a man approached the victim around 11:47 p.m. in the 4200 block of Marzin Place. He produced a knife and demanded the victim hand over his property, according to police. When the victim tried to run away, the man stabbed him in his upper body and then fled the area.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
