This one-time extension is intended to provide relief for city property owners who did not anticipate the new Stormwater Utility fees, or were unaware of the creditable activities listed in the Stormwater Utility Credit Manual.
Those who submitted credit applications by the original deadline (Oct. 1, 2022) and were approved had their credit applied in December 2022, and will continue to have those credits applied in 2023.

Credit applications submitted between Oct. 1, 2022 and March 1, 2023 will be considered for the 2023 bills. (Note: those who already applied for credit may apply for additional credits during this time.)
The deadline for Stormwater Utility credit applications for the 2024 billing cycle is Oct. 1, 2023.
SWU credits may be earned cumulatively, with no set maximum percentage. However, each property will be charged at least one billing unit per year, regardless of how many credits a property earns per year.
