Surf Shop Violated In Fairfax: Police

Someone violated the very essence and spirit of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding Friday at the Fairfax Surf Shop.

FAIRFAX, VA—Someone violated the very essence and spirit of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding Friday afternoon in the Fairfax Surf Shop at 3936 Old Lee Highway, according to Fairfax Police. Of course, that's not exactly how police described the crime, but it nonetheless was an affront to the general laid-back nature of surf shops everywhere.

Namely, shortly after 3:30, an employee reported that an unknown male took a shirt and left the store without paying for it. Dude. Stealing from a surf shop? So uncool, man. Anyway, here's the rest of Monday's Fairfax Police crime report:

DUI Arrest / 18-5181
University Drive/Kenmore Drive On April 21 at 00:58 AM an officer who had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle determined that the driver was intoxicated. Milton Alexi Cruz Antonio, 29, of 10324 Layton Hall Drive, Fairfax was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held on an unsecured bond.

Vandalism / 18-5208
3800 Block of Jermantown Road– On April 21 at 12:33 AM a subject reported that between 10:00 AM and 12:00 AM unknown person(s) damaged a window on his vehicle. The Field Operation Division is investigating the case.
