Suspect in Child Sex Assault Arrested Again: Fairfax County Police

Joseph Patrick Gamerl facing news charges of soliciting a minor and soliciting child pornography, according to police.

FAIRFAX, VA — A Fairfax man arrested in June for sex offenses with a child was arrested again this week by Fairfax County Police, who believe there may be other victims.

Joseph Patrick Gamerl, 53, was charged earlier this week with three counts of using an electronic device to solicit a minor and three counts of soliciting child pornography, according to police.

Gamerl was charged in June with taking indecent liberties with a child and aggravated sexual battery. A 10-year-old victim disclosed to a family member that the suspect had touched her inappropriately, according to police.
