Suspects Wanted In August Arson Case Caught On Camera: Fire Marshal
Fire investigators released surveillance photos Tuesday of suspects wanted in an Aug. 16 arson incident at a Fairfax construction site.
FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax Fire & Rescue Department released surveillance photos Tuesday in connection with an arson incident that occurred Aug. 16, in the basement of a home under construction in the Fairfax area of the county, according to a blog post.
Around 9 a.m., on Aug. 16, workers discovered a large, stacked pile of 2x4 finished lumber smoldering in the basement of a home in the 11500 block of Leehigh Drive. Fire crews responded to the scene and extinguished the fire before it had a chance to spread.
Investigators believe the fire was set sometime between Monday night, Aug. 15 and Tuesday morning, Aug. 16. They found a few cans of original flavor Twisted Tea at the scene.

Fire inspectors are asking the public to help identify the people in the photos. Anyone with information about the arson incident or who recognizes the people in the photos is asked to contact Capt. Tim Palmer with the Office of the Fire Marshal, Fire Investigation Section at 571- 221-1049 or timothy.palmer@fairfaxcounty.gov. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
