Video: Man Caught Taking Roses Without Asking From Fairfax Home
A man was captured on video ignoring "No Trespassing" signs Thursday, walking up to a Fairfax home, and taking roses from a garden.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Tommy Dang is not sure if Thursday was the first time someone has taken roses off the bush growing on his property in Fairfax City, but it's certainly the first time he's captured the thievery on his Ring video camera.
"I'm actually at awe at how casual this person would be, just walking up to someone's home and cutting their flowers without any hesitation," Dang said, in an email to Patch.
Dang was so bothered by the incident that he posted it on the Neighbors app, so that others in the area could share in his outrage.

"This stranger just went to our front porch and cut our roses as if they're wild flowers!!" Dang said, in the Neighbors post. "Even when we have no trespassing signs posted out front. At least ring the doorbell and ask for permission."
When asked what he would say to the rose thief if he had a chance, Dang said: "I would like to tell this person please be respectful of other people's property. You don't just walk into people's home and casually cut their flowers without consent or any considerations for their plants/garden."
