Virginia Health Department Launches Two New Online Services: Testing Locator, Covid-19 & You

The Virginia Department of Health COVID-19 web page has added two new tools to its website, https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus:

• COVID-19 & You, a new consumer education and information topics toolbar that offers website visitors a more interactive and personalized experience, and
• a COVID-19 testing locator: https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/covid-19-testing/covid-19-testing-sites/

COVID-19 & You is an interactive tool that answers questions regarding health concerns and issues. Users click through a list of topics and subtopics based on information most frequently search for on the VDH COVID-19 website, and are sent to pages that have more graphics and photos, shorter blocks of text, and larger text. Some links direct users to other websites, primarily the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website. VDH subject matter experts review the information for accuracy and readability.

The testing locator is intended to help provide information of known locations of various COVID-19 test sampling site. There may be additional sites that offer test sampling that are not included on the map and the status of listed sites are subject to change (may no longer perform COVID-19 testing services).

Anyone who is sick and believes they may have COVID-19, should always call before visiting their healthcare provider or a testing location.
