National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch: snow expected from late Wednesday night, February 17, through late Thursday night, February 18. Total snow accumulations of 5 or more inches and total ice accumulations of a quarter inch or more are possible from late Wednesday night through late Thursday night. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

City Service Information:
- City crews will pre-treat primary and residential roads in the city in preparation of inclement weather.
- Park off-street (in driveways and designated parking lots/areas) when possible before the inclement weather begins — particularly with this volume of snow predicted. Parking off-street allows proper access to roads for vehicles treating and plowing roads efficient, and emergency vehicles.
- Secure outdoor items or store them safely.
- Bring pets indoors to keep them safe and warm. If it's too cold for you outdoors, it's too cold for them.
