Woodson G-Lax Downs Rival Robinson
Cavaliers even season record with 20 -17 win over the Rams.
Woodson's girls lacrosse team used a balanced scoring attack to pull out a 20-17 win last week on the road against longtime local rival Robinson.
Eight Cavaliers netted goals against the Rams. Laura Dunn, with five goals, and Alex Lightfoot, with four goals, led the Cavs' scoring.
Sophomore Jasmine Kim and freshman Claire Swanson each added three goals. DeeDee Montgomery, Kelly Stegner, Leah Miessler, and Sara Febbo also found the net.

Montgomery and Kim led the Cavs with five draw controls each. On defense, sophomore goalie Lizzie Benedetto turned back 25 shots.
Woodson's next contest is this Friday, April 12 when the Cavs begin Patriot District play at South County.
