Yard Waste Holiday Collection Service Notice: There May Be Atypical Delays Because Of It In Fairfax City

The city strives to collect all debris promptly. However, holiday collection schedules necessitate collecting multiple days' worth of debris on a single day, which may cause atypical delays in collection.

As a result, yard debris collection may occur over a period of days or throughout the week, possibly into the weekend — depending on a number of factors, including weather and amount of debris to be collected.

If there is a delay, please leave items at the curb until collection is provided.
