City of Falls Church DMV Office Closes Permanently
Next date for the DMV 2 Go Mobile Unit is in December.

After more than 8 years of service, the DMV Select office in City Hall has closed permanently, the City recently announced. Managed by the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office, the closure is a result of a lack of resources.
The City could consider reopening the DMV Select in the coming years if more space and resources become available.
The DMV 2 Go full-service, handicapped-accessible DMV office on wheels is still scheduled to be at City Hall Friday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The service is open to all Virginia residents; no reservations are required.
DMV 2 Go provides the same services as a DMV office, including applying and renewing driver’s licenses, obtaining ID cards, taking road and knowledge test, obtaing copies of driving records, vehicle titles, license plates, decals, disabled parking placards or plates, and updating addresses after a move.
