Leaf Collection Hours Extended in Falls Church
There will be no collection on Fridays.

Effective immediately, leave collection hours in the City of Falls Church have been extended to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, according to a news release from the City. There will be no collection on Fridays.
The remaining collection schedule is as follows:
- Monday, Nov. 17 - Wednesday, Nov. 26:
North of Broad Street
(No collection Nov. 27; no collection on Fridays) - Monday, Dec. 1 - Thursday, Dec. 11:
South of Broad Street
(No collection on Fridays) - Monday, Dec. 15 - Wednesday, Dec. 24:
North of Broad Street
(Half-day collection on Dec. 24; no collection on Dec. 25; no collection on Fridays)
To properly prepare for leaf collection, residents are asked to rake leaves to the curb, not the street, and keep leaf piles away from fire hydrants, storm drains, and water meters. Do not include other yard debris such as ivy, sticks, stones, etc.
