Police: Graffiti Suspects Caught On Camera

Have you seen these downtown vandals? Fredericksburg City Police wants to hear from you.

Investigators are hoping that surveillance images can help identify suspects in recent downtown vandalism.

Fredericksburg City Police has released photos of the suspects and the graffiti in two cases this summer.

If anyone can identify the individuals or have similar cases, they’re asked to contact Det. Patrick Lamb at 540-654-5740.

One set, from June 30, 2015, shows men police say are responsible for graffiti on an electrical box in front of the city courthouse.

A man in a white shirt wearing a ball cap is seen using a marker that was in his pocket as he wrote what appears to be “DICA” on the box.

In the second incident, a white male is seen early on Aug. 2 tagging property in front of the Fredericksburg courthouse. His tags included a dragon head, “SKRT,” “HDLS” and ”Headless.”

Police note that similar tags have also been found in the downtown area from previous dates.
