1 Dead After Jeff Todd Way Shooting In Mount Vernon Area

A man brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound was connected to a shooting in the area of Jeff Todd Way, Fairfax County Police say.

MOUNT VERNON, VA — One person is dead after a shooting on Jeff Todd Way in the Mount Vernon area Sunday, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police were notified of a man with an upper body gunshot wound brought to the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. The man had life-threatening injuries and died. Officers began investigating a shooting on Jeff Todd Way in the Mount Vernon area of the county.

Police do not believe the incident was random. The suspect was believed to be driving a silver Nissan Maxima with Maryland tags.
