$500K Of Narcotics Seized In Traffic Stop, Search Of Huntington Home
Fairfax County Police seized more than $500,000 in narcotics after conducting a traffic stop and search of a suspect's home in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON, VA — Fairfax County detectives seized more than $500,000 worth narcotics that they say were being smuggled into the country on Tuesday night, according to a post on the Fairfax County Police Department's official Twitter account.
Acting on a tip, detectives conducted a traffic stop after witnessing a male suspect entering the county. Searching the man's vehicle, they discovered 63 pounds of marijuana, 1,000 tins of multiple THC gummies, 270 small jars of THC wax (2.5 grams each), 800 additional grams of THC wax, 500 THC vape cartridges/pens and 300 THC-infused drinks, according to police.
After arresting the driver, the detectives obtained a warrant to search his home in Huntington, where they found 13 pounds of marijuana flower, 800 tins of THC gummies, 1 pound of Psilocybin, 50 jars (2.5 grams each) of wax, 100 THC vape cartridge and $60,000 in U.S. currency, according to the Twitter post.

Police charged the 28-year-old man with two counts of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, transportation of marijuana into the Commonwealth of Virginia, and possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I narcotic. The man is currently being held without bond.
