Another Shooting Reported In Gum Springs Area: Police

The shooting may be gang-related and linked to one that happened on Monday, Fairfax County Police say.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA—A second shooting within days in the Gum Springs area of Hybla Valley is under investigation early Thursday, July 4.

Police believe the shooting may be connected with Monday's shooting and is likely tied to gang activity. The Mount Vernon District Station will be providing extra patrols in the area.
