DC, NoVA Weekend Events: Juneteenth, Ryan Zimmerman Weekend

WASHINGTON, DC — We've reached mid-June, and the upcoming weekend will provide ways to celebrate Juneteenth and Father's Day.

This weekend will feature various events to celebrate Juneteenth, the end of slavery in the U.S. The largest event will be Pharrell's Something in the Water Music Festival held throughout the weekend. A few other events include the Juneteenth Freedom Festival in DC, Gum Springs Community Day/Juneteenth, Juneteenth Celebration & BBQ in Dumfries and Juneteenth Celebration in Leesburg.

Other notable events from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19 include the Jazz Festival in Manassas, Ryan Zimmerman Weekend at the Nationals, One Loudoun Carnival at Uptown, Portside in Old Town Summer Festival, Columbia Pike Blues Festival and Sully Annual Car Show.
