Delivery Driver Struck In Head By Robber In Hybla Valley
A pair of robbers made away with cash after hitting a delivery driver with a gun, police say.
HYBLA VALLEY, VA — Fairfax County Police are seeking two suspects after a delivery driver was struck with a gun during a Hybla Valley robbery on Friday, July 26.
The robbery happened in the 7700 block of Richmond Highway. Around 10:16 p.m., a man and woman approached the delivery driver. The man displayed a gun and demanded money before striking the victim in the head with the gun. The driver gave the pair cash, and they fled.
The first suspect is described as a black man around 20 years old, 5 foot 11 and wearing a white shirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black woman around 5 foot and in her teens.

Robbery: 6500 block of Quander Road, Belle Haven, 7/26/2019, 1:43 p.m. The victim was approached by a juvenile suspect who assaulted him and stole a pair of headphones. Officers investigated and recovered the headphones; the juvenile suspect has been charged.

Robbery: 8600 block of Village Way, Mount Vernon, 7/26/2019, 9:29 p.m. The victim was walking in the area when he was assaulted by a group of ten juveniles. The suspects took the victim’s wallet. The group was described as Hispanic males in their late teens to early 20s.
Burglary: 8631 Richmond Highway (Kiki Nails), Mount Vernon, 7/27/19 – 7/28/19, 10:30. Someone entered the store overnight and stole cash.
