Local Holiday Favorite Collingwood Lights To Be On National TV
Bill Vaughan's animated display will be featured on ABC among the best Christmas light displays around the country.

Locals look forward to Bill Vaughan's magnificent Collingwood Lights display every holiday season. This year, it will have an even bigger audience. That's because it's featured on ABC's "Great Christmas Light Fight," a reality show documenting some of the best Christmas light displays around the country.
In an episode preview video, Bill and Jan Vaughan discuss the origins of the popular synchronized light show and teasers of this year's display. Decades ago, Jan Vaughan chided her husband for not putting up Christmas lights. The rest was history, and Jan says she's "created a Christmas monster."
Bill Vaughan, who was a fine arts major in college, makes all of the pieces for the light display. The episode takes a look at how the display comes together—and even a first look at some of the pieces that will become animated lights.
