Man Dies After Being Shot Inside Vehicle In Hybla Valley

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — A man is dead after being shot in his vehicle in Hybla Valley Saturday, according to Fairfax County Police.

Around 8:12 p.m., police responded to the 8000 block of Seaton Street for the shooting of a man in a white Dodge Challenger. Police found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The man was identified as Darren Davis, 19, of Alexandria. The medical examiner is conducting an autopsy to confirm the manner of death.

Police believe a black Dodge Charger pulled up, and the occupants fired multiple shots at Davis and drove off. Police found multiple shell cases at the scene, determining multiple rounds were fired at the vehicle.

The incident is not believed to be a random act. No arrests have been made yet. The occupants of the black Dodge Charger were a group of men wearing black clothing.
