Masked Gunman Robs Family at Hybla Valley Home: Police

Police say he entered the home Friday afternoon through an unlocked front door.

Fairfax County Police say a mom and her two young sons were surprised Friday afternoon when a masked gunman entered their home and robbed them, according to police.

The robbery took place in the 3400 block of Audubon Avenue Friday afternoon at about 2:47 p.m. The victim and her two young sons were home when an unknown male entered the home through an unlocked front door, displayed a handgun and demanded money, police said.

The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled, according to police. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as being black, 18-20 years old, 6 feet tall, skinny build, with short, black hair. He was wearing a ski mask, a plaid black and gray shirt and blue jeans, police said.
