Resident Robbed at Gunpoint After Answering Knock on Door

Fairfax County Police report that a local resident was robbed at gunpoint after answering a knock on the door Sunday night.

The incident took place in the 7900 block of Richmond Highway, Sunday at 6:55 p.m. The victim was in his residence when he heard a knock at the door.

A man displayed a handgun and entered the victim’s residence. Property and cash were taken. The victim incurred non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.
