The fastest show on earth rolled into West Potomac High School last week with high praise. Here's what a few audience members had to say.

Heading off the rails, Beyond the Page Theatre Company’s 2015-2016 season focuses on “Art That Matters”. This continues with the super-charged spring musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS. Directed and choreographed by former cast member Philip Lee Clark (Bochum, Germany, 1995-2000; 2004-06; U.S. Tour 2003-04), with music direction by Cathy Manley. West Potomac’s tradition of excellence promises to live on through this exhilarating and challenging musical masterpiece.

The show was quite a surprise for me. I absolutely loved it. I was honestly not sure what to expect with the show. From the beginning I could tell how much effort was put into the show from everyone on skates. Especially considering that I am a klutz on skates, skateboards, and all things that roll on more than one wheel, I am very proud. I applaud the you guys working on the lighting and the sound. It was spectacular; everything was very well coordinated. I am so excited that I was able to come to the show. - Ms. Smith
I came into this show expecting a Thomas-y sort of vibe, but was blown away at just how good it actually was. I could never tap and dance on skates, so watching some of my classmates and friends doing it was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the show! 6/5 Stars! - Austin H

The show is incredible and not to be missed. In addition to the usual great acting, singing and set design as we have come to expect from a West Potomac show, this has super high energy and speed ,from the specially-built stage with a race track, high-intensity lighting, and professional quality student orchestra. The student-designed and built stage set and costuming are creative and add so much to the magical experience. No one will leave the theater without marveling at the professionalism in every aspect of this show. Congratulations actors and crew. It was an over-the-top production. Five Stars for sure!! - Cheryl
