Herndon Holiday Inn Holds Grand Re-Opening

The Holiday Inn Reston-Herndon held a grand re-opening Monday evening.

The Holiday Inn Express Reston-Herndon, 485 Elden St., unveiled its $1 million renovation to the community on Monday. Officials from the town of Herndon, the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations were on hand.

Renovations included an update to the exterior of the building, the lobby and common areas, landscaping and parkin glot, and guest rooms—which have new furniture, artwork, wall coverings and 32" flat-screen televisions.

The hotel was built in 1985 and has become well-known in Herndon as an Elden Street landmark, said Connors in a press release from Holiday Inn. “We have now completed a dramatic renovation of the hotel with an exterior beautification that is simply transformative, and we’re extremely proud of it.”
