Jimmy's Old Town Tavern Has Plans to Expand
Owner Jimmy Cirrito made the announcement on Super Bowl Sunday.
During Super Bowl Sunday Jimmy's Old Town Tavern owner Jimmy Cirrito made a big announcement for the restaurant and bar.
Cirrito said the restaurant has been in downtown Herndon for 16 years and opened with a lot of help from family and friends, and now he has plans for expansion.
He said the owners of the Tele-Fix at 695 Spring St., next door are planning to retire and close their business in March and he hopes to make use of the space.

Cirrito's possible expansion plans include new bathrooms, a better kitchen, an outdoor beer garden and the possibility of brewing beer on site.
However, the ambitious plan will require support from the community, he said. Watch the attached YouTube clip from the Mike O'Meara Show to hear the announcement.
