Title Boxing Club to Open at Herndon Centre

Boxing and fitness facility will open this fall in center informally known as Kmart Shopping Center.

A.J. Dwoskin and Associates announced Monday that Title Boxing Club has signed a new lease at the Herndon Centre.

In a release Monday, the company said the boxing and fitness center will open this fall in a 4,078-square-foot space in the shopping center, informally called the "Kmart Shopping Center" for the well-known  store there. 

A.J. Dwoskin and Associates, the firm that manages Herndon Centre, has been making improvements to the shopping area recently, including installing electric car charging stations, resurfacing and reconfiguration of the parking lot and new landscaping, the release said.

In the last year the company has also brought in new anchor tenants with  and .

MOM’s leases more than 10,000 square feet at the center; Big Lots leases about 26,000 square feet. The entire shopping center includes more than 246,000 square feet of retail space, according to the release.

A.J. Dwoskin and Associates said customers are using the electric car charging stations, located in front of MOM’s.

“We have been really pleased with the response we’ve received from the local community about the changes we’ve made to the center. Herndon Centre is much busier, and we have customers with electric cars coming from far away to the center to charge their cars and shop,” A.J. Dwoskin & Associates' Searcy Baker said in the release.
