• Several homes struck by gunfire near Mount Vernon Plaza in Hybla Valley; police search for suspects (dcnewsnow.com) — Several homes on Snowpea Court in Hybla Valley were hit by gunfire Sunday morning, though no injuries were reported, according to Fairfax County police. Officers are searching for two suspects who fled in a cream-colored vehicle and are asking anyone with information to call 911, so neighbors should stay alert and share tips if they saw anything unusual.
