Leesburg Restaurant Inspections: Bonchon, Roy Rogers, Rocco's, Blue Ridge Grill
The Loudoun County Health Department cited violations at several restaurants around Leesburg and the rest of western Loudoun County.
LEESBURG, VA — The Loudoun County Health Department cited several restaurants around Leesburg with violations during recent inspections. The most recently published inspections occurred between Feb. 2 and Feb. 8.
As coronavirus restrictions continue to fluctuate around the state, health inspectors are returning to conduct some restaurant inspections in person. However, some visits, such as those for training purposes, can be conducted virtually.
Violations at restaurants typically focus on factors that can contribute to food contamination. The local health department can also perform a re-inspection to ensure that possible violations have been corrected.

- Observed salmon in walk-in cooler (43 F, 42 F) noted as improperly cooled to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. The salmon was cooked the previous day. EHS noted that it was cooled and condensation was observed on the outer wrapper which could indicate that improper cooling was observed.

- Observed containers of coleslaw, containers of cooked pork, bags of cooked rice, cooked yuca, and salsa prepared in the establishment over 24 hours ago and not dated for disposition.
- Observed time as a public health control being used for coleslaw and shredded cheese not properly marked or otherwise identified to indicate the time that is 4 hours past the point in time when the food was removed from temperature control. Also observed coleslaw and shredded cheese not on the written procedures prepared in advance at the food establishment.
- Observed wiping cloth in a sanitizer bucket with over 200 PPM chlorine.
- Observed ice scoop with the handle in contact with ice.
- Observed kitchen hand washing sink leaking. A bucket was observed to catch leaking water from pipes.
- Observed trash build-up by back door. Trash is creating a harborage condition.
