Update: Shots Fired Incident Resolved In Hillsboro: Police
Authorities said deputies have resolved a shots fired incident that was reported in Hillsboro on Thursday afternoon.

HILLSBORO, VA — Gunshots rang out in Hillsboro on Thursday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
At 1 p.m. on Thursday, the sheriff's office said there would be a large police presence in the area of Hillsboro Road and Charles Town Pike as they searched for the shooter.

No injuries have been reported, a sheriff's office spokesperson told Patch.
Authorities asked residents to avoid the area as deputies investigate.

"The earlier incident in the vicinity of Charles Town Pike and Hillsboro Rd (Town of Hillsboro) has been resolved," the sheriff's office said at 3 p.m. "Law enforcement is clearing the area and vehicular traffic is again flowing."
