Suspects Identified In Second Burglary At Leesburg Sneaker Store
A pair of teens, who were already charged in one burglary at the store, are suspected in another burglary at Restocked Sneakers.

LEESBURG, VA — A pair of teens have been identified as suspects in connection with a second burglary at the Restocked Sneakers store in Leesburg, authorities said. The teens had already been suspected after an initial burglary at the store.
The first burglary occurred at the shoe store on Madison Trade Plaza on Nov. 17, 2022. Police officers arrested five teens after a second burglary on Nov. 27, 2022.
On Tuesday, Leesburg police officials said two teens faced were connected to the first burglary. Authorities did not identify the teens by name due to a Virginia law that protects the identities of minors.

In the Nov. 17 burglary, authorities said suspects shattered the business's glass window and stole goods from the store. Investigators found some of the stolen property in Raflo Park near the Washington & Old Dominion Trail, according to the police report.
The second burglary occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 27. Multiple callers told police that they heard loud banging noises and people running away from the store.

When officers arrived at the store, they saw that someone had shattered the business's front window again and stole merchandise.
Officers established a perimeter and took five of the suspects into custody. A sixth teen was identified as a suspect later.
The officers recovered some of the stolen merchandise from the apprehended teens. They found more stolen merchandise in a vehicle that one of the teens had taken from a family member without their knowledge, according to the police department.
Both investigations are now being handled by the Loudoun County Juvenile Court Services Unit.
