• Renovations planned for two playgrounds in Mason District (annandaletoday.com) — Playground upgrades are coming to Lincolnia Park on Montrose Road this fall, with construction starting in September and wrapping up by December. Bren Mar Park's playground on Edsall Road will be renovated on the same schedule. Both playgrounds will close during work, and families are encouraged to use other nearby playgrounds listed on the Park Authority's Amenity Locator.
