Affordable Live-In Childcare

Cultural Exchange Au Pair program provides families with an opportunity to obtain live-in childcare and promote cultural awareness.

Astar Education Institute, a local non-profit out of Manassas, VA, is seeking families interested in participating in our Cultural Exchange Au Pair Program.

The program asks families to sponsor and host an international student for one year, during which time the student will work on earning their certified nursing assistant license and work for the family as an au pair, providing services including, but not limited to, childcare, household chores/duties, cooking, and tutoring.

All of our students must meet a rigorous set of qualifications, including a high level of proficiency in English and at least 200 documented hours of childcare experience, to ensure that they can provide your family with the superior care they deserve. Their nursing training will ensure that your au pair is well-suited to respond to a wide range of situation, from the common cold to emergency situations. Families will have the chance to screen the profiles of many potential au pairs and perform Skype interviews before making a final decision, ensuring they will find an au pair that suits their family's personality and needs.
