Empower and Educate Social Action Awareness Forum

September 16, 2016, Prince William, VA – On Saturday, September 24, the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will host a social action forum to educate and empower the community on four timely topics. Forum focus will include: Understanding community/police relations; how to advocate for your healthcare; human trafficking and domestic violence affects in our county; and voting rights restoration. This information packed, free forum will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Manassas, 9258 Center Street, Manassas VA.

The presenters will be Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Ashleigh Landers Sutton, Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for Prince William County; Captain Willie Hardeman

Prince William County Sheriff’s Department; State Organizing Manager Sade Moonsammy,

Young Invincibles and Andrea Bailey, The New Virginia Majority. There will also be a question and answer session.
